Stapler
A stapler is a mechanical device that joins sheets of paper or other similar materials together. Device drives a thin metal staple through the sheets and folds over the ends.
The first stapler was handmade in the XVIII century for King Louis XV of France.
On August 7, 1866, the Novelty Paper Fastener was patented. It allowed a single staple to be loaded. This device was used to mainly bind papers or books, but also carpet, furniture or boxes. Staples for the fastener were manufactured in several sizes.
Centuries made stapler smaller. A lot of types of staplers were created for various needs.
For example, electric staplers are handier because they don’t need any physical force to work with. Pneumatic roll feed staplers can work with items that electric staplers can’t work with.
Carton staplers are created particularly for work with carton or other similar materials.
